Baby Injured In Domestic Violence Incident In Sydney's West
A man has been arrested after a baby was injured during a domestic violence incident in Sydney’s west.
Just after 2.30pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to a home on Jersey Road, Hebersham, following reports a man and woman were fighting.
Police have been told during the argument a 21-year-old man picked up a stroller, which had a five-month-old baby inside, and threw it before leaving the scene.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the baby at the scene before being taken to The Children’s Hospital Westmead.
A short time later, a 21-year-old man was arrested near Stevenage Road, and was taken back to Mount Druitt Police Station.
