Cardi B Officially Confirms That She’s Having A Baby GIRL!
Okurrr Cardi B fans it’s official! Seven months into her pregnancy with her fiancé Offset Cardi has officially confirmed that they are having a baby girl!!
In similar fashion to the actual pregnancy announcement back in April, Cardi chose to share the news on a talk show.
The 25-year-old rapper appeared on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday when she revealed the exciting news.
Cardi was completely honest about many things during the interview, including her illegal butt injections, stripping, her relationship with Offset and of course the gender of their unborn baby.
Howard asked Cardi about the gender of her baby and in reply she said, “I’m having a girl.”
Cardi also revealed that they’ve already chosen a name for their daughter! When Howard asked about it she said, “Ya know what I didn’t pick the name but if you interview my dude, he’ll tell you.”
While no name was actually revealed yet, we bet that with the little girl coming into a family with names like Cardi and Offset, that it’s not going to be your average name like Jane or Grace.
The news of Cardi and Offset’s little girl comes after much speculation that began after Cardi’s sister Hennessey gushed about her future niece in an Instagram post.
In the post she wrote, “I’m going to be able to hold your baby and give her all the kisses and hugs.” She later changed the caption to say “the baby” instead of “her”.
Cardi also fuelled the fire surrounding the sex of her baby while on the Met Gala red carpet as she kept referring to her growing bump as a ‘she’ in interviews with the press.
Speaking with the New York Times on the red carpet of the gala, Cardi was talking about her growing baby bump when she said, “she do weigh three and a half pounds”.
Cardi said something similar while speaking to Entertainment Tonight when talking about the baby kicking her stomach. She said, “oh, she wants to fight me!” using the female oriented pronoun once again.
News of Cardi’s pregnancy with her fiancé Offset came during an epic performance of her song ‘Be Careful’ on Saturday Night Live last month.
