Cardi B Arrested Over Strip Club Brawl In New York
Cardi B spent Saturday night performing a major concert in New York’s Central Park on Saturday night, but by Monday it was a completely different story, with the US rapper being arrested and charged in relation to a brawl at a strip club.
The platinum-selling artist received a summons on Monday for misdemeanour reckless endangerment and assault stemming from a fight at the club in New York.

The new mum surrendered to investigators at a Queens police station just after 9:30am local time accompanied by bodyguards and her attorney.
She was arrested at the 109th Precinct before being released with a “desk appearance ticket” to return to face the charges at a later date in court.
“We are aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm from that night”, said Cardi’s lawyer, Jeff Kern. “We expect the matter to be resolved expeditiously.”
According to AAP, police say Cardi B and her entourage were at the club at around 3am on Saturday when she got into an argument with a 23-year-old woman who was bartending.
They say a fight broke out during which chairs, bottles and hookah water pipes were thrown, slightly injuring the bartender and another employee.
Police said the rapper and about nine other people in her party fled, but she later agreed to turn herself in after being identified by the bartender.
Investigators are exploring whether the fracas involved a romantic dispute.
This incident comes about three weeks after Cardi B and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj were involved in a physical altercation at a New York Fashion Week party and left Cardi B with a mark on her head.
