Channel Nine Are Doing A Royal Wedding WEEK!

I imagine the cafeteria at Channel 9 is exclusively using commemorative plates from Princess Di and Prince Charles' wedding right now.  Serving staff English Pork Pie, Earl Grey Tea, and Arnotts Royals, with some steak on the side becuase... you know... beefeaters.

Point is, they're going all in for the Royal Wedding Week.  That's right, WEEK!

All their big guns will head over to the UK, including Nine News, 60 Minutes, A Current Affair, Today, Today Extra as well as 9Honey and 9News.com.au.  Phew!

Royal Wedding fever starts on Saturday, May 12th, leading up to the Royal Wedding itself, 7 pm on Saturday, May 19th.  It will be hosted by Georgie Gardner and Karl Stefanovic, supported by an army of reporters and Royal insiders.

You'll be able to watch it on the TV channels, but also it'll all be streamed live on 9Now, with updates on 9News.com.au and 9Honey.  I can assure you there will be people at weddings on the 19th streaming the royal one.  Guaranteed.

Nine will be hoping for a ratings bonanza - the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton topped out at 5.7 million in 2011.
