Demi Lovato Selling Her Home Where She Allegedly Overdosed

Demi Lovato looks set to be trying to move on after her apparent overdose back in July after reports that the Hollywood Hills home where she almost died is now up for sale.

The mansion has been listed for $9.495 million and is said to feature found bedrooms, six bathrooms and extensive entertaining areas including a pool, bar and media room.

The private estate is also located in the idillic location of Hollywood Hills just minutes away from the Sunset Strip.

Back in July emergency services were called to the ‘Solo’ singer’s house with reports that she had been found unconscious inside her house after a suspected drug overdose.

911 audio that was released after the incident alluded to the fact that those close to the singer tried to keep the event quiet after the caller was heard requesting for paramedics to not use sirens as they approached the home.

However, the dispatcher told the called that he didn’t have the power to make that call and that sirens were needed as this was considered a “medical emergency”.

Lovato was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles and after nearly two weeks she was released before entering rehab for further treatment.

“Her family and team have decided that the best situation for Demi to focus on her sobriety is to check into an in-patient facility,” a source told ET at the time. “This approach was based on what has worked for Demi in the past, when she lived in an in-patient rehabilitation centre over a year.”

“It took a long hospital stay and time to detox for her to get some clarity,” the source continued. “She now [has] a plan to change and everyone is breathing a huge sigh of relief. It has taken Demi close to two weeks to truly see herself. She had finally come to terms with what she’d been doing to herself and her body."

On August 5th Demi broke her silence after the terrifying incident in a heartfelt Instagram post to her fans, telling them that she would “keep fighting” her addiction.

Lovato’s fans, family and friends all rallied around her after the incident with many people posting loving messages or making statements. Selena Gomez is the most recent celebrity to talk about the star’s apparent overdose, telling Elle magazine that she loved Demi.

“All I’m saying is, I reached out to her personally,” Gomez said. “I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I…I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. So…it’s…that’s what I’ll say.”
