MAFS’ Ines Was Approached To Be The Next Bachelorette

Ines Basic has already caused a stir on one reality dating show and now it seems she was almost given the chance to do it all again!

The controversial Married At First Sight contestant spoke to Kyle and Jackie O this morning and addressed the Bachelorette rumours - revealing that she had actually been approached by a competing network.

Rumours had been spreading that Ines was actually supposed to be the next Australian Bachelorette on Channel Ten. Ines SAID that this was in fact true but she chose not to go ahead with it due to her experience with mafs.

"I actually did get asked while filming Married at First Sight if I was interested in being picked for it,” Ines revealed.

“I thought I’d be real funny but I was like, ohhh I don’t know, this is already like, so heavy.”

Ines has been inundated with comments on social media from trolls due to her behaviour on MAFS, so we reckon she probably made the right decision.

But we have no doubt that if she had been the Bachelorette, it would’ve made for AMAZING viewing.

As we now know the next Bachelorette is going to be someone who is kind of Ines’ polar opposite, Angie Kent from Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Angie joined Mike E and Emma yesterday to chat about her upcoming season of The Bachelorette and told us why she's been single for 8 years - watch here!
