Mac Miller's Finsta Found After His Death
The world has learnt a lot about American rapper Mac Miller following his tragic passing nearly three months ago but we don’t think anyone was expecting to discover an entire secret social media presence.
On Thursday, fans of the recording artist found a whole new side to his life after they uncovered a secret Instagram account where Miller would post under the alias ‘Lars’.
The secret account for ‘Lars’ was discovered under the handle @cloudywithachanceofawesome69. In a post on July 2017, Miller posted a video as his alter-ego revealed he had hit 50 followers but this has since increased to a whopping 188K followers after fans discovered who he really was.
Lars only has about a dozen posts on his page, most of which are videos and photos about vaping.
But this isn’t the first time that Miller had used an alias during his career. He also released music under different names, using the pseudonyms Delusional Thomas, Larry Fisherman and Larry Lovestein.
It’s been a bit of a week of flashbacks to Mac Miller’s life this week after Spotify also released two tracks that the rapper had recorded before he died.
Miller, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, died in September at the age of just 26. It was later confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner that he had died from mixed drug toxicity.

His tragic death rocked the industry and a concert was held in his honour earlier this month, featuring artists including Travis Scott, John Mayer, SZA and Chance the Rapper.
