Sony Uploads Trailer To YouTube, Uploads Entire Movie
An attempt by Sony to upload a movie trailer to YouTube has resulted in the company accidentally uploading the entire film.
It has since been removed, but not before Khali the Killer spent a few hours on the video sharing site, clocking up over 11,000 views.
We’re not sure how it happened, but the internet has speculated that the upload was a viral marketing move, particularly as the film, a pretty violent crime drama, wasn’t likely to attract such buzz otherwise.
The synopsis reads “After deciding to retire, an East L.A. hit man decides to take one last job to help support his ailing grandmother’s end of life care. But everything falls apart, when he develops empathy for the targets of his hit, and he’s forced to make the toughest decision of his life.”
While it’s yet to attract any attention on movie rating site, Rotten Tomatoes, it’s scored just 3.8/10 on IMDB.
