JAY-Z Is Apparently Set To Headline In Australia Next Year
Well how's about this for some epic news to end your working week on?
Word on the street has it that JAY-Z will be coming to Australia next year to play Bluesfest 2018; the rumours started when the festival's director Peter Noble revealed that they had locked-in their first headliner.
"We had that wonderful moment occur last week, when a top line headliner confirmed for Bluesfest 2018," Noble wrote in an email.
"He is a beauty and it will be an absolute pleasure to bring him to Bluesfest. That only leaves around 99 artists to go."
That, according to The Music Network, is a reference to 99 Problems - a slight stretch, but not entirely unbelievable.
With a new album dropping at the end of the month and plans to tour that album "in the fall", the timing would tee up.
Is it too much to hope for? Surely not.
