The One Thing You Didn't Notice About The Voice Finale

‘King’ Judah Kelly was crowned the winner of the Channel 9’s The Voice last night, but it’s not the 20-year-old who is grabbing the headlines this morning.

Katy Perry was left red faced after she was spotted catching a flight out of Sydney airport on Sunday night, right around the time she was supposedly performing ‘live’ on The Voice.

The 32-year-old’s performance of 'Chained To The Rhythm' with finalists Judah Kelly, Fasika Ayallew, Hoseah Partsch, and Lucy Sugerman was reportedly recorded around 5pm, but not aired until 7pm.

Her performance of 'Swish Swish' was also recorded earlier in the evening, but broadcast around 9pm, an hour after she was pictured walking through Sydney airport, along with her entourage.

It’s the second blip for the popstar this weekend. Her stint co-hosting this morning’s Sunrise, which was advertised as live, was also prerecorded a whole two days before it hit the air.

The show was dubbed awkward by fans, with Perry making reference to it being Saturday.

Meanwhile, the US star announced she will be touring Australia next year, playing seven gigs across the country during July and August.
