The Simpsons And Modern Family Have Just Been Pulled From TV

If you love flicking through the TV stations and finding The Simpsons playing as you settle in for a chilled afternoon, you’re not alone.

Seeing our favourite yellow family on TV has been a creature comfort for many of us for the last 20-something years, but it seems that if we want the same laughs to continue, we’ll have to look elsewhere.

Due to a breakdown in negotiations between 21st Century Fox and Channel 10, The Simpsons and crowd favourite Modern Family have disappeared from free-to-air television.

That’s not all, a heap of popular content from Fox was also pulled, including Mash and Malcolm in the Middle, Futurama, breakout hit This is Us and all Fox movies.

New seasons of The Simpsons, which aired on Ten for more than 25 years, and Modern Family were due to hit screens this month but they will not be returning to the network in what is a massive blow.

It’s all because Fox is understood to have been unhappy with the amount Ten offered to pay for its content.
