The White House Responds To Kanye's Presidential Announcemen
When you think of the VMAs, you always expect them to be a little crazy.
You know that there'll be some guests who are scantily clad, some drama, some fiece looks from exes - and one moment that encapsulates the whole thing. That moment came from Kanye West, when he accepted his Video Vanguard Award from Taylor Swift, rambled on about how much he hated award shows (cheers, MTV) and tried constantly to break down into tears, before announcing that he would be running for President in 2020.
Now, the White House has reponded. According to reports in Billboard, the following is now a matter of public record:
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest says of the announcement that he looks "forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat." Earnest was traveling aboard Air Force One with the president to Alaska.
Do you think it'll happen?!
