41 Degrees Today But The HOTTEST Suburb In Sydney Will Be…

Eeeeeeek! It’s going to be a STINKER today in Sydney and surrounding suburbs…

Here's what some places will be reaching:

Blacktown: Mostly Sunny 41C

Homebush: Mostly Sunny 41C

Terrey Hills: Mostly Sunny 41C

Parramatta: Mostly Sunny 41

Badgerys Creek: Sunny 40C

And SUPER hot in the city with Sydney expected to be very hot and sunny with a top of 41C. Light winds will become northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h in the late morning. A cool southerly change 30 to 40km/h in the evening and reaching up to 55km/h along the coast.

Today's weather is expected to make history and if temperatures do reach at least 41 degrees in the city, we would be breaking a 33-year-old record.

Bureau of Meteorology severe weather forecaster Mick Logan said "We don't see there being any real chance of a sea breeze to help keep things down at all. It will be hot and dry with westerly winds causing temperatures to soar".

Total fire bans will be in effect along the northern, southern and eastern Riverina region.

Stay cool, Sydney!
