J.K Rowling Has Confirmed Every Harry Potter Fans Worst Fear
That was it, Harry Potter fans.
Yesterday, across Australia and the world the Harry Potter madness we sat ablaze for the final time.
We say final time as author J.K. Rowling has broken Potter fans hearts.
When asked by reporters at the launch of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child book whether fans can expect a new set of stories she said ''No. No.''
She went on to explain ''[Harry] goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we're done. This is the next generation, you know. So, I'm thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.''
Rowling also revealed she never had any intentions to continue the book series after the seventh and final novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
She said ''[The play] chimed perfectly with the material I had about the next generation and I could see it would work perfectly. So, I never wanted to write another novel, but this will give the fans something special.''
There is still some good news for Potter fans though, with spin-off flick Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them opening in cinemas on November 18.
