Myers New 'Firesale Floor' Has HUGE Discounts On Name Brands
If you love buying name brands but the price tag can be a bit off putting, Myer are your saviour!
The shopping chain are trying to combat a massive drop in profits by launching a new 'firesale floor' which will have HUGE discounts on their own labels, plus brands including Calvin Klein, Jack Jones, French Connection, Bardot, DKNY, Fossil, Doc Martins, and Levis.
The new concept has been trialed at Myers Frankston store and is now going to be rolled out at their stores in Penrith and Roselands in Sydney, Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast, Logan in Brisbane, Knox in Melbourne, Tea Tree Plaza in Adelaide and Perth City.
Prices in Frankston have been advertised as $50 and under for footwear, $34 and under for womenswear, $60 and under for home, $30 and under for menswear and $10 and under for children’s wear.
Shoppers have reported picking up $250 jeans for about $100, Doc Martin shoes for $100, 60 per cent off DKNY handbags, $50 shoes, and $10 children's clothes.
Chief executive Richard Umbers told News Corp, 'We've always had clearance sales; this is about aggregating them to one location within a store, one clearance floor within an existing store — and it's getting a great response,'
At those prices, we're not surprised!
