R. Kelly Covered By NBA Star Victor Oladipo Is Priceless
There's no denying Oklahoma City Thunder guard Victor Oladipo can sing, he's proven it time and time again, but his latest performance for Rolling Stone might not have hit the same mark.
Oladipo has previously told TMZ, "I've probably been singing since I was like 7 or 8-years-old. My momma made me sing in church growing up. It was kind of a hidden talent of mine for a while, but over the years I’ve kind of been getting out of my shell."
Out of his shell he has been getting. Rolling Stone reports he stole the show at an Indiana University Athletics event with an amazing rendition of Bill Withers' "Ain’t No Sunshine" and has also won a pair of talent shows with R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly." He also warmed up a New York crowd featuring the likes of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj with some Frank Sinatra during the 2015 NBA Dunk Contest.
So they gave him a go at R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly," a song he clearly loves and has practiced... but we're not so sure it sounded as good out loud as it did in his head. You be the judge, watch at top.
Just to prove that he can actually do the song some major justice, watch his performance below:
