The Latest ASOS Ad Is Inclusive As HECK

This is not your typical fashion ad.

Online clothing brand ASOS are being praised for their new campaign that includes a disabled model and people of varying ethnicities and body shapes.

Haitian-American blogger and model Mama Cax, whose leg was amputated when she was a teenager appears in the ad. Ms Cax, who lives in New York, is known for championing body positivity and diversity in the media.

The new ad has been praised by disability charity Scope as a great move.

"There are 13 million disabled people in the UK, but they rarely see their lives reflected in marketing campaigns, the media, in advertising and in popular culture," said Richard Lane, head of communications at the charity.

"Seeing more disabled people in the media is key to challenging society’s attitudes to disability."
