US rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine Hospitalised After Kidnapping
US rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly been kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed of jewellery before being hospitalised, according to US media reports.
The New York Police Department has told The Associated Press that the 22-year-old, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was a passenger in a car that was hit by another vehicle around 4.30am on Sunday in Brooklyn, New York.
The rapper told police two men got out of the car and forced him into their car before making him call another man to bring him some personal property, which he did with the men taking an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
Police say Hernandez "became uncooperative" after filing the report and was then admitted to hospital.

But earlier on Sunday celebrity tabloid newsite TMZ filed a different and more detailed but unsubstantiated report, citing sources close to the rapper.
The TMZ report said Hernandez was accosted after arriving home early on Sunday when another car blocked his driveway. Three gunmen got out and pistol-whipped the rapper, according to the report, knocked him unconscious and carrying him into their car.
There, the assailants said they would kill him if he did not give them money and jewellery.
They returned to his home, where the rapper's girlfriend and daughter were inside but were not harmed. Hernandez reportedly gave them $US750,000 in jewellery and between $US15,000 and $US20,000 in cash -- and then the gunmen forced him back into the car and drove away.
But TMZ said Hernandez was able to open the car's back door and escape, with a passerby calling 911 and an ambulance taking him to hospital.
Earlier this week the rapper was arrested in Texas on charges connected to an incident in which he appeared to choke a 16-year-old boy in a Houston mall.
He was also arrested in New York on July 11 while attempting to leave the country for a European tour and was released on bail before flying to Texas, where he surrendered to authorities and posted $US5,000 bail.
The rapper released a new single with Nicki Minaj on Sunday called "Fefe".
