Why EVERY Blogger Is Painting Red Underneath Their Eyes
If you’ve watched any instagram make-up tutorials lately, you may have noticed a bizarre trend that’s been adopted by almost all aspiring make-up artists.
Basically, after their skin prep and before their make-up application, they’re taking to their under eyes - and a few other varied places - with red cream?
Call it lipstick, or a red cream eyeshadow, but they’re painting the stuff under their eyes - and I was stunned.
I work SO hard to fade out the redness I have on my face, I can’t ever imagine myself taking to my face with a blood red cream and making matters worse.
However, there seems to be a method to the madness.
It seems that these red shades actually held to neutralise skin discolouration.
Once you put your foundation on top, not only does it help your foundation to pop, but it also (oddly) works to neutralise any natural red tones completely. WHO KNEW?!
Here are a few you can try, otherwise, a matte red lippy will work just as well.
