New One Direction Video Leaves Fans In Tears

One Direction fans have been left in tears at the boyband's new music video for their track History.

The song, their first single released after the band went on hiatus, is filled with video montages of the group on tour and their early beginnings on X Factor.

The video also includes shots of former member Zayn Malik, who left the group in 2015 to pursue other projects.

Realising this might be the last music video they will see from the band for a long time, fans have taken to social media to post their despair.

"THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS NOT THE END," Maddie Black posted below the YouTube clip of the video.

"This video seems like a goodbye Damn, I'm crying so hard," said Laura Perez.

Others have been comforted by the fact Malik has been included in the video, despite his departure.

"Love that they still include Zayn," Jacklyn Alise said.

The video poignantly ends with the four remaining members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson walking away, in different directions.

During their hiatus, the band members have been working on individual projects, while Tomlinson recently became a father.
