17 Year Old Charged Over Robbery At Western Sydney Library

A teenager has been charged following an alleged robbery outside a library in Sydney’s west.

Just before 2.30am yesterday, emergency services rushed to Flushcombe Road, Blacktown, following reports a man had been assaulted.

On arrival, Blacktown officers found a 25-year-old man with head and facial injuries.

He was treated by paramedic and taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the railway station shortly after and taken to Blacktown Police Station.

Police will allege the teen and two other unknown males allegedly assaulted the man before taking his phone and wallet.

He was charged with robbery in company and refused bail to appear at a children’s court today.

Inquiries continue.
