2 Year Old Killed In Western Sydney Collision

A two-year-old girl has died and eight other people were injured following a serious crash in Western Sydney.

Yesterday afternoon, police and emergency services rushed to Mamre Road, near Abbotts Road in Kemps Creek.

The crash involved a passenger van carrying nine people and a commercial van with two people.

2 boys aged 9 months and 3 years remain in critical conditions, while several other adults are also in hospital.

A 59 year old man with critical injuries and a 23 year old woman with leg injuries were taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Meanwhile a a 20 year-old woman, a 16 year old boy and two girls aged 16 and 10 suffered minor injuries.

The two occupants of the commercial van were not injured.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit examined the scene this afternoon and are continuing to investigate all circumstances surrounding the crash.

They are asking any person who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
