Ben McCormack Pelted With Bottle Full Of Spit Outside Court
WARNING: explicit language
A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack arrived at Downing Street court today to discover his fate after pleading guilty to two counts of using a carriage service to transmit, publish or promote child pornography which included engaging in graphic online conversations in September.
McCormack escaped jail time, but was pelted with a bottle of spit as he left a press conference held by his attorney outside court.
The man throws the bottle and is captured on video yelling, ‘That’s what happened to F****** me!’ before storming off out of shot.
The footage was obtained by a Daily Telegraph reporter just moments ago.
It came just seconds after McCormack's lawyers told the waiting media pack now was the chance for the former reporter to move on with his life.
He'd just been released on a $1000, three-year good behaviour bond - with judge Paul Conlon saying he believed McCormack was genuinely sorry for his actions.
