Stabbing In Western Sydney Leaves Man Fighting For His Life
A "brutal" stabbing in western Sydney last night has left a man fighting for his life.
The incident, which occurred at the intersection of White Avenue and June Street in Bankstown just before 8pm, saw the 20-year-old rushed to hospital with serious stab wounds to his stomach.
Paramedics treated the man, who was said to be in a critical condition, at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
While Bankstown officers are investigating the incident, they have declined to confirm either the victim's identity or any description of his attackers.
The man is now in a stable condition.
