Charges Laid After Stabbing At Western Sydney Home Overnight
Police have charged a man after a stabbing at a unit in Fairfield overnight.
Emergency services were called to the address on Hamilton Street at about 3.30am on Wednesday following reports of an altercation, where they found a 40-year-old man with a stab wound to his leg.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another man, 36, was arrested outside the unit block and was later charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The accused is due to appear in court later today.
