Police Investigating TWO Indecent Assaults In Sydney's West

Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of indecent assaults and robberies at a reserve in Sydney's west over the past month.

It's alleged that during the first incident, which took place on Sunday October 8 at about 3.30pm, a 14-year-old girl was indecently assaulted by a man on a bicycle at a reserve on Lalich Avenue, Bonnyrigg.

The second, almost a month later, took place on the other side of the reserve near Hamel Road in Mount Pritchard.

It's reported that a 48-year-old woman was cycling through the park at about 5pm on Saturday November 4 when she too was indecently assaulted by a man on a bicycle.

Just three hours later, a 14-year-old boy was threatened by a man with a knife in the same area before he fled the scene on a bicycle.

An investigation into three incidents has been launched and police are appealing for a man who may be able to assist with inquiries to come forward.

He's described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, in his 40s and with a medium build.

Anyone who may have information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
