Mazda Recall 33,000 Cars In Australia Over Braking Fears
Mazda Australia has recalled more than 33,000 BT-50 Dual Cab Utes as they believe they are a hazard.
The vehicles are believed to have a latch holding the rear filing seat that could break and lead to a malfunction.
As a result, the back seat could fall during braking.
If a child is in the seat, there is a greater risk of safety according to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Mazda says it will contact motorists who need to return their car.
