Woman Shines The Light On The Downside To Kanye West Pop-Up
A Melbourne businesswoman has contacted Kanye West over his decision to open a store in Fitzroy.
Charlotte Knightly who says her dress is Galerie Montmartre at 179B Brunswick Street, says that because of the 700 people standing outside the Pablo pop-up store, her customers felt too intimidated to come into her store.
Knightly has estimated the losses for her store at $6,000 and has asked for Kanye to write them a cheque for their losses.
Kanye announced he was opening stores all around the world on Thursday, before they opened on Friday through Sunday, with opening hours being 8 AM to 10 PM.
The queues were blocking businesses in the area but it is not thought they would lose money but, Knightly is arguing the opposite.
