Police Searching For Missing Boy, 15, Northern Beaches
NSW Police have asked for anyone who may be able to help locate a missing child from Sydney’s northern beaches area to come forward.
15-year-old Brody Hurst was last seen at a shop on Barrenjoey Road, Newport at about 5:30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The boy’s parents have said that this disappearance is out of character and they are concerned for his welfare.
"Brody left his bright green pushbike at the northern end of the beach on the walking track near the sand yesterday early evening and hasn't come home," said Brody's mother Christeena Hurst.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were informed of the disappearance yesterday evening and a search commenced immediately without success.
Police are now appealing for public assistance in locating him. Brody is known to frequent Bilgola, Barrenjoey and Newport areas.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complextion. He is approximately 170-175cm tall, weighs 60-65kgs and with mid-length fair hair.
Brody was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a yellow logo, tan pants, black shoes and carrying a backpack.
