Police Issue Appeal To Find Three-Month-Old Girl & Her Dad
NSW Police have issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a three-month-old girl and her father, who were last seen near Lake Macquarie at about 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
Little Kalais Reid was with her mother when they met her father, Danny Wever (also known as Danny Reid) at Morisset; according to police, Wever walked to a nearby shopping centre with the baby.
When he failed to return, an investigation was launched.
There are welfare concerns for the child.
The father is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion; he is aged 26, is between 160 cm and 170 cm and of thin build, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
He also has a small tattoo under his left eye.
Police are appealing for Wever to attend his nearest police station, and members of the public are urged to be on alert and report any sightings of the baby or her father to Triple-0 immediately.
