Reports Kieran Foran Treated In Hospital Following Overdose
When news broke that captain of the Parramatta Eels was being excused indefinitely from the NRL, red flags were definitely raised.
Was he okay? Was his family okay? Was his mental health okay?
Everyone was more than a little concerned for his wellbeing.
Now, according to a report on news.com.au, Kieran Foran was taken to hospital in an ambulance following an overdose of prescription medication, it’s been revealed.
Reports also state that Foran’s relationship with the mother of his two children, Rebecca Pope, has broken down.
He has been excused from the NRL and his duties as Parramatta Eels captain indefinitely and is said to miss at least the next three matches, including the Test match against Australia next week.
It’s also been reported that the NRL’s welfare department had been working with Parramatta officials to look after Foran’s health and wellbeing.
At the time of the incident, a report on news.com.au states that Foran was staying with his sister in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Glebe when an ambulance was called.
