Sickening Footage Shows Two Teens Beating Up Elderly Man
Disgraceful footage has emerged of two teenage boys beating up an older man at a bus stop in Sydney’s northwest.
The video, which has been shared a number of times across social media by concerned Sydney residents, shows a young male in a grey hoodie getting into a heated argument with an elderly man at a bus stop in Castle Hill.
Suddenly the teen stumbles backwards before another teenage male appears on camera running up to the elderly man and pushing him to the ground.
While the man is on the ground the two young teens repeatedly kick him while a female onlooker can be heard screaming, “No!”.
NSW Police confirmed to News.com.au that the incident occurred on August 18.
“A 70-year-old Cherrybrook an became involved in an argument with young people at a bus shelter on Old Castle Hill Road,” said a police spokesman. “The argument turned physical, the older man fell to the ground.”
“Two 16-year-old males allegedly kicked the older man in the stomach.
“Female members of the group went tot he assistance of the older man, but he declines medical treatment.”
Police confirmed that a 16-year-old male had been arrested at the scene while a second young person involved in the incident had been identified.
Inquiries are continuing.
