Man Arrested After Driving Drunk On Suspended License
A Sydney man has been arrested after drink driving on a suspended license to his local police station in Sydney’s south and parking in an space reserved for emergency vehicles.
Police are reporting that the 57-year-old man arrived at Kogarah police station at around 12:30pm on Monday as part of his bail conditions for previous offences.
The man allegedly staggered inside smelling of alcohol and after being breathalysed he is said to have returned a reading of 0.226, which is more than four times the legal limit.
Officers arrested the man and charged him with a variety of offences including high range PCA, driving while suspended and breach of bail.
The man has been refused bail and is expected to appear before Sutherland Local Court later today.
