Sydney Flights Grounded, Air Traffic Control Tower Evacuated
Flights in and out of Sydney have been grounded after smoke was detected in the airport's air traffic control tower.
The tower was evacuated just after 11am on Friday, with firefighters now on scene.
"There is a full ground stop in place with no aircraft departing or arriving at this time," an Airservices Australia spokeswoman said.
