Sydney Tutor Allegedly ’Drugged And Assaulted' Student
A man from Chatswood has been charged and will face court today after allegedly giving one of his teenage student’s prescription drugs and indecently assaulting her at a tutoring academy on Sunday.
The incident allegedly occurred at around 2pm on October 28 when an 18-year-old woman attended a tutoring academy on Neridah Street, Chatswood.

Police allege that the 34-year-old tutor gave the teenager prescription drugs a short time after she arrived and indecently assaulted her.
Detectives from North Shore Police Area Command were contacted about the incident and they commenced an investigation.
Police set up a crime scene at the academy in Chatswood as well as at a unit on Albert Street, Chatswood, as part of their inquiries.
Just before 6am on Monday a man aged 34 from Chatswood attended Hornsby Police Station where he was arrested and charged with two counts of cause to take intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence and assault with act of indecency.
The Accused Has Been A tutor To Students For Several Years
The man, who has been a tutor to students for several years, was initially refused bail and appeared before Hornsby Local Court yesterday.
He was refused bail once again and ordered to appear in court again in Hornsby later today.
