WAIT Until You Hear The Weather We're In For This Weekend
We're pretty sure winter 2017 is the reason we have trust issues.
After a beautiful but brief warm spell at the beginning of August, we were rudely plunged back into single-degree days and blustery, icy winds.
But - psych - Sydney can look forward to an absolutely cracking weekend; as we officially welcome spring, Sunday is predicted to hit 28°C in the city, with similar temperatures forecast out west.
You'd better get out and enjoy it though, because it's not really going to last.
"A cold front moving through late on Sunday will knock daytime temperatures back down below average levels by early next week before they start to climb again by the following weekend," Weatherzone meteorologist Tom Gough told the Sydney Morning Herald.
There's even more good news; while the mercury might be all over the place, it looks like we're going to enjoy a drier-than-average start to spring.
"We're expecting Sydney's conditions to stay relatively dry for the first few weeks of September," Andrew Watkins from the Bureau of Meteorology confirmed.
