Teen Charged After Alleged Sexual Assault In Western Sydney
A teenage boy has been charged after allegedly chasing down a man before raping him at knifepoint in a Westfield carpark in NSW.
NSW Police have alleged that a 16-year-old boy chased a man through the carpark of Mt Druitt’s Westfield shopping centre on Sunday morning before sexually assaulting him.
The teenage boy allegedly approached the 53-year-old man in the carpark on Carlisle Avenue. It’s believed that the teenager was unknown to the man.
Police then believe that the boy pulled out a large knife and threatened the man. The 53-year-old attempted to run away but the teen chased him down.
It’s alleged that the man was then sexually assaulted by the boy.
After the terrifying incident the middle aged man called police and was taken to Blacktown Hospital where he was looked over by doctors. He suffered no physical injury.
The teenager was arrested a short time later on nearby Luxford Rd in Whalan. A large knife was found in the teen’s possession.
He was arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station before being charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault - threaten actual bodily harm on victim with weapon.
The teen was refused bail and is due to appear at a children’s court later today.
