Total Fire Ban With Severe Weather Warning For Sydney
A total fire ban has been declared for the Greater Sydney region, starting from midnight, as fire crews brace for severe conditions.
The ban also covers the Central Ranges, North Western and Northern Slopes regions, with hot and windy conditions forecast.

The Bureau of Meteorology has warned of a severe heatwave that's expected to last until Monday, with Penrith set for five days of 40C-plus weather.
