Two Injured After Car And Bus Crash In Western Sydney

Two people have been injured after a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a bus occurred in Sydney’s West in the early hours of this morning.

Police are reporting that a bus was travelling east along Chiswick Road in Auburn at around 12:30am this morning when it collided with a silver Honda sedan travelling north along Chisholm Road.

The driver of the car was uninjured, however two passengers in his vehicle were left trapped for around 10 minutes before being freed and taken to Auburn Hospital with minor injuries.

The bus driver was uninjured and there were no passengers on board the bus during the time of the incident.

Officer from the Auburn Police Area Command were called to the scene and they are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Both drivers returned a negative result when they were given a breath test at the scene.
