Taylor Swift Helps Kesha Out!

Taylor Swift has backed her fellow singer friend Kesha following a court injunction by pledging $250,000 in financial support.

The donation comes just days after a judge in New York told Kesha she has to continue to record music under her current contract, with the input of producer Dr. Luke, who she claims sexually abused her.

Swifts spokesperson said ''In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time''.

The New York Supreme Court Judge Shirley Kornreich upheld the contract against Kesha saying ''You're asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry''.

As a result of the abuse Kesha claims he has received, there has been no new material recorded by the singer in 3 years.

Other artists who have #FreeKesha over the last few days include Demi Lovato, Lily Allen and Lady Gaga.
