Drake and Bad Bunny hook up on Latin trap hit MIA with a dope mv to go with it

Drake is one of the smartest artists in the industry right now – from creating a viral video trend with In My Feelings to most recently straight-up trend-hopping into the pool of Latin Hip Hop, he’s everywhere.

Drake has teamed up with Puerto Rican rapper, Bad Bunny on this smooth summer jam.

Bad Bunny is fast becoming a very crucial staple in the hip-hop scene as he climbs the charts. He was solely recognised in the Latin charts after getting his start on Soundcloud, however following his success on I Like It with Cardi B and J Balvin, he’s becoming a household name in the mainstream.

When asked about the collab with Drake, Bad Bunny told Billboard about the language barrier.

“We spoke about everything,” Bad Bunny told Billboard. “I don’t speak English well, but after a few drinks you can speak any language. We spoke about music, basketball, everything.”

MIA is the perfect song to soundtrack your kickback

The music video sees Drake and Bad Bunny at a block party just playing dominos and having a good ol time throwing shapes (Drake’s only got about 5 moves and they’re all recycled from the Hotline Bling music video)

Also, Bad Bunny is deadass just a fashion icon at this point, looking fkn sexy having a dance in those overalls.

Fun fact: This isn’t actually the song’s debut.

MIA premiered in 2017 under a different name Eres Mia, in collaboration with Mozart LaPara and J Balvin.

This version with Drake was teased way back in May 2018 and it was definitely worth the wait

Kick back y’all, let this song transport you to somewhere you’d rather be.
