Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her biggest regret, and it has nothing to do with a jade egg or “V-steaming“.
The actor and founder of the Goop lifestyle brand has labelled the 2001 comedy film Shallow Hal as her “least favourite performance” and “a disaster”.
If you haven’t seen the movie, Paltrow stars alongside Jack Black, who plays the eponymous Hal, a physically average man who only falls for attractive women. He gets hypnotised and then starts to only see women’s inner beauty, falling in love with the obese Rosemary, played by Paltrow…in a bodysuit.
It was a weird film.
The Goop founder said of her time on the film: “It was so sad, it was so disturbing. No one would make eye contact with me because I was obese”.
Although, not everyone agreed with Paltrow’s view, with many on Twitter pointing out the actor’s other professional missteps.
