After the weekend we all just experienced, it’s safe to say I fear summer… I genuinely fear it.
On Sunday night, Sydney experienced a 9 degree drop in temperature in a matter of 20 minutes!
While today has been a reprieve, tomorrow the mercury begins to rise again with numbers heading to the 30s as we walk into our first day of Summer.
While the city will escape the incoming heatwave, inland areas will need to brace themselves for soaring temperatures.
Daily Mail spoke to forecaster Rose Barr about the areas being affected which include north and western NSW who will continue to top 40C.
These temperatures alongside high winds will create dangerous fire weather from Tuesday for this part of the state.
However those of us east of the dividing range will be spared.
