Today in Emma’s ‘Celebrity Skin’ segment, the news of Billie Eilish’s message at her concert came into talks.

Billie Eilish’s fashion choices have always been a hot topic of conversations.

Especially before she turned 18.

Her choice to cover herself in baggy clothes in an effort to combat the entertainment industry’s disgusting habit of sexualising youth.

Her unwillingness to relinquish her power of her own body is SO FREAKING COOL.

So you might not like her attitude, you might not like her music but you have to respect the stance.

But to be honest, we also respect the drip.

Her clothes alongside her success have upgraded to the likes of Louis Vutton, Gucci and Fendi.

Billie has, in the past, talked about how her look might change when she turns 18.

She’s talked about how she might want to be ‘sexy’ one day and her fans shouldn’t turn into haters if that ever happens.

Emma talks about how men aren’t “slut-shamed” and body shamed like women are and this is exactly what Billie is about.

On Monday night at her concert in Miami she appeared between songs in a video on the big screens.

She begins to talk…

“ You have opinions…about my opinion, about my music, about my clothes, about my body”.

She begins to remove her clothes layer by layer.

“Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it, some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me, but I feel you watching, always, and nothing I do goes unseen”

We all have goosebumps at this point and the crowd is going WILD.

“The body I was born with, is it not what you wanted? If what I wear is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I am a slut….If I wear more, If I wear less, Who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”

And honestly AMEN.

Eilish is only 18 years old and she’s so young in so many ways and yet so wise in others.

We have only love and support for you girl!
