Skies and snowboards at the ready snow bunnies! Ski season has officially kicked off early!
Following extreme blizzard conditions and heavy snow fall, Perisher Ski Resort has decided to open up their ski runs early!

While the official start of ski season was due to take place over the June long weekend next week, Perisher has decided to open up shop early following 75cm of snow fall this week.
And there’s only reports of more snow on the way!

They’ve said that this is looking to be some of the best Early Opening conditions in years .
“Since early Monday morning, we have experienced extreme blizzard conditions and this continues to deliver the good stuff across the resort,” said Perisher spokesman Joss McAlpin.

“Seeing this much snowfall in May has allowed us to open the resort early, allowing guests to begin ski and snowboarding for the 2019 season.”
