Well move over Cass Wood and the dream diary saga. Take a seat Jarrod and your love fern. The Bachelor has found it’s new stage five clinger for the season and in terms of overly obsessed peeps, she’s magnificent.
As soon as 32-year-old Emma Roche met our new bachelor Matt Agnew on the red carpet their relationship was set in stone in her eyes.
We mean, we can’t really blame her. The guy is smart, funny, kind and OBVIOUSLY very easy on the eyes.
But GIRL! Probably about two seconds after meeting him Emma was one smitten kitten. And her feelings only seemed to get stronger as the night went on, especially after Matt pulled her aside for a chat first at the cocktail party.
In her piece to camera afterwards, Emma’s casting as the season’s stage five clinger was cemented as she said, “I hate to be sharing, but I feel so lucky to be here, and to be in with a chance to find the love of my life. I can’t believe, I’m saying that,” she said.
“God he’s beautiful. I love him,” she added later. “No, I really…I don’t, but yeah.”
Tbh we can't blame her. Who else is already in love with our Bachelor? #TheBachelorAU pic.twitter.com/swlndB12Jx

Yeeeep. Girl was a legitimate love heart eyes emoji. And Twitter had a lot of fun reacting to her.
Emma: I love him! Hahahhah only kidding…that’d be weird…unless?? #TheBachelorAU

Emma: If Matt gets pretty friendly with another girl, that would be hard to deal with
Emma has obviously never watched #TheBachelorAU before.

Okay Emma babe, you’re on the bachelor, some of those thoughts are inside thoughts, we don’t say those out loud. #TheBachelorAU

The other girls in the mansion also noticed Emma’s over-the-top behaviour, including the girl who came dressed as a self-proclaimed “hot, young bride”. Yeah, you know that you must be being a bit too clingy if you’re labelled the stage 5 clinger over the girl in a legitimate wedding gown.

“I think Emma is a bit clingy,” the bride, who’s actual name is Rachael, said. “There’s stage five, and then there’s Emma, so I would say she’s like a stage 10, 15. I’m not threatened by that desperado, thank you next!”

Unsurprisingly, both Emma and Rachael were some of the last girls to receive a rose in the ceremony last night. Clearly they’re being kept around for our entertainment, and we aren’t mad about it.
This season is going to be SO GOOD!
