After being SAVAGELY ROASTED ONLINE BY FELLOW YOUTUBER TATI WESTBROOK, James Charles has been forced to apologise to fans on the Gold Coast after delaying his Australian meet-and-greet by almost two hours to film a video.
“I’m sorry for being a little bit late, I had lots of personal stuff this morning,” he told fans at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
Since landing in Australia for a press trip, the YouTube beauty guru has lost over 1.5 million subscribers amid his online feud with 37-year-old Tati Westbrook.
While fans waited for his appearance, the 19-year-old was in his hotel room filming a video addressing his feud with the beauty influencer.
“I owe everybody an explanation and I owe two people an apology,” he said in the video.
“I’m sorry for everything that is going on everything and I’ve put you through over the past three weeks.”
In Tati’s original video, she claims that James takes advantage of others. She also claimed he made inappropriate comments about wanting to hook up with a straight waiter while ignoring the waiter’s sexual orientation.
“Fame, power, and a fat bank account will change almost anyone. And if you don’t have people that will tell you to your face that you’re doing the wrong things, you will change,” she admitted.
“There’s so much going on with James Charles right now that I do not support. I do not agree with.”
Over the past couple of days, the 19-year-old has lost over 1.5 million subscribers on his channel. It has also been rumoured that stars such as Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have also unfollowed him.
