Wait, hang on.

What?

You might be thinking ‘is this the real life?’ or ‘is this just fantasy?’

Okay, well stop singing ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for a sec and whip out your planner because YES, THIS IS THE REAL LIFE!

Since Italy entered lockdown on March 10th, the southern town of Sicily has reportedly lost over AUD$1.7 billion due to a lack of tourism .

In order to entice people back, Sicily is going to spend around AUD$82 million to cover half the cost of flights for those travelling to the area post-coronavirus as well as one of every three nights stayed at a hotel.

You’ll also get free tickets to museums and archaeological sites.

To be part of the deal, travellers need to head to the Visit Sicily website when Italy opens their borders and we’re allowed to travel again.
