A Sydney lawyer has been left outraged after NSW Police seized his number plates after they were deemed too offensive.
The licence plates which were donned on his canary yellow Lamborghini spelled out ‘LGOPNR’, which could be interpreted as “leg opener” to anyone who reads into it.
The lawyer, Peter Lavac says that only 1 out of 100 people would know what it meant and had been fighting to keep the plates for months.
“How can anyone be offended by something if they don’t know what the f*** it means?” he told The Daily Telegraph.
Transport for NSW issued Lavac a notice that his registration would be cancelled in October if he didn’t hand the plates back, and later he was pulled over by police and was forced to hand them over in November.
He continues to fight to keep the plates.
