From June 1 people in NSW can finally travel regionally across the state again! And just a few weeks later, we’ll be able to head to the snow fields and kick off the ski season!
Thredbo resort have announced their opening date to the public for this year on Twitter, saying that we can start hitting the snow from June 22.
“Great news,” they wrote alongside a video. “We’re OPENING for skiing and snowboarding on 22 June for the season.

The ski resort also issued an update on their website revealing how they will keep everyone safe and ensure social distancing measures are followed.
A new operating model has been developed under advice from the NSW Health Department and the State and Federal Governments.
Some of the rules include only two people per quad chair lift, one person per T-Bar and group lessons will remain closed for the time being.
